| 1} DRIFTERS
ZIP -- 2007 Grullo turning gray gelding. Sired by War Chiefs
Pride (AKA Drifter). Dam is a Zippo Pine Bar bred mare
with a super disposition that was 'born broke'.
ZIP is an extremely gentle 14.3 hand gray gelding that has a lot of looks and conformation. He can be ridden anywhere at any time by just about anyone. He goes anywhere you point his head. He does not have a big motor, does not get excited and rides equally well if you ride him every day or once every 3 months. He needs no 'warm-up' or exercise when he is not ridden for several months. Just saddle him up and ride him off. He comes to meet you at the gate, even in a large pasture, loves people and is well-mannered to tie, bathe, shoe, anything. He has been tied over-night at several 2 and 3 day trail rides. You just cannot find a more solid trail horse. He has gathered cattle and done a little bit of cattle work in the pen. He is willing and suitable to do anything you want to do. He is very suitable for a novice rider. He is healthy, sound, has a current Coggins and is UTD on all vaccinations. He has good enough feet that he would probably not need shoes if he was not ridden in solid rocks like he is here. He has been sold and is now living in Indiana. Photos are 'thumbnails'. 2} FLASHY BLUE SLIDER -- 2004 GRAY GELDING. Sire: Call Him The Flash (Colonel Freckles / Doc Bar / Zan Parr Bar breeding) with AQHA reining points. Dam: A Classical Silver Daughter that has produced roping horses and ranch horses that have been sold all over the US and Europe. BLUE has a LOT of ability. This is one good looking big stout gray gelding. He is keen headed, good boned and footed and as tough as a QH gets. He is a very pretty mover with a smooooth lope. He is a big horse (15.3 hands) with a big motor that needs a job and rider with a lot of ground to cover. He is one of the quickest big horses we have ever bred. He is an ideal 'pony-horse', a really nice ranch gelding or would make a sorting or penning gelding for a big rider. He is very cowey. He is really broke, broke, broke and very well-mannered. He can be ridden by anyone with the experience to ride an ambitious horse. [He is probably more horse than a beginner needs to ride.] He can carry a big rider all day every day. He has gathered cattle in pastures of several thousand acres carrying a 250# rider. Pete Wolfe rode him for the last several years, but he is 70 years old and is getting over quadruple bypass open heart surgery --- he needs less horse to ride. If we don't sell Blue, he will keep riding him and he just does not need this much horse any more. [Now, if we can just convince Pete of that!] BLUE is 100% sound and healthy and ready to go to a new home. BLUE is priced at $5000.00 |

3} CLASSY LENA SILVER -- 2004 GRAY MARE. Sire: Royal Lena Peppy - NCHA money earner sired by Peppy San Badger out of a Doc O'Lena daughter who is out of a Royal King daughter - making him 7/8 blood to Pepto Boonsmal . Dam: Classical Zanny- one of the winningest FQHR show horses of all time winning the first FQHR Conformation award given with 15 Grand Championships at halter and many performance championships in all divisions. She was exported to the UK shortly after this mare was weaned. This is a very good looking gray mare. She is 'flea bitten' all over giving her a very unique 'speckled' gray color. She has the biggest hip we have seen on a horse (since her mother was foaled), perfectly straight legs, and very good over-all conformation. She combines the best cutting bloodlines with the great old Foundation lines of Classical Silver and Zan Parr Bar. She is another one that is so good minded and can do anything. She is an absolutely solid trail horse and has worked a lot of cattle. She is really 'cowey' and has a lot of athleticism and quickness. When she moves with a cow, you had better by hanging on. This mare can do it all. She has perfect manners and will go anywhere for any rider. She is sound and healthy and ready to go. For Sale for $5000.00

| 4} CLASSY GOOD GIRL -- 1997 Gray Mare . Sire: Classical Silver. (reference sire) Dam: Jackies Good Girl, granddaughter of Doc Clabber by Doc Bar and Padre Sonoita by Dick Sonoita. ‘Jackie’ was a cutting money winner and used for several years as a top ranch and roping mare.. Good Girl has been one of our best producers. Her foals all really ride and 'Cow'. (Good Girl had a gorgeous 2005 Palomino filly (pictured below) by a son of Dunit It With A Twist, for sale for $3500.00.) We left her open to put her back in the trail string. She is an easy breeder if you want to go back that route. This beautiful 15.1 hand mare is a very solid trail horse. She will go anywhere you point her head. She is safe for an experienced child and can carry a big man. She is big, stout, sound and gentle but has a pretty big motor. You can ride her 20 miles a day every day and she is waiting to go again tomorrow. She has impeccable manners. $2500.00 | |||||

DRIFTERS
BLUE ZIP -- 2006 GRAY Mare -- Sire:
War
Chiefs Pride (Drifter) Double bred Driftwood horse that has
conformation & ability. (See his page). Dam: Home
raised super gentle pleasure bred mare. She is the kind
anyone could ride from about her 3rd or 4th saddleing. She is
still here carrying small children on our trail rides. They
do not come any more gentle natured and all of her sons and daughters
are just like her. (this makes her a full sister to DRIFTERS ZIP,
Above.
She has only been ridden regularly since the spring of 2011. She rides like she has been ridden for 2 or 3 years instead of just 7 months. She goes anywhere you point her head and is as close to 'bomb-proof' as a young horse can ever get. She is very laid back and does not have a very big 'motor' (a nice way of saying she is pretty lazy). She never acts 'high' or 'silly'. She is already traffic-safe, been in rugged solid rock pastures, rides alone or anywhere in a big group and could care less who is on her back. She could use a fancier 'handle' on her and she is ready for her rider / trainer to ask for more quickness and fancier moves. She is smooth gaited with a very nice walk, jog and lope. Weather permitting, she will be started on cattle in early spring, 2012. $4000.00 before further 'finish' training. |

| 6} FLASHY DRIFTIN ZAN
--2007 Dun Filly (Incentive Fund Nominated) --
Sire: Call Him The Flash (Colonel Freckles / Doc Bar
/ Zan Parr Bar breeding) with AQHA reining points. Dam: A very
good looking dun mare sired by War
Chiefs Pride (Drifter) Double bred Driftwood horse that has
conformation & ability. (See his page).
Driftin Zan is very well started. Like Drifters Blue Zip (above), she rides like a horse that has had 2 or 3 years of trail riding experience. She has been trail ridden all summer of 2011, but we still consider her that rather 'green'. She is another horse that we raised and started and that has never bucked or made a mistake. We do not think horses should need to be 'warmed up' or longed before they can be ridden. When we start them, we train them to just stand quietly for saddling and mounting and they just ride right off. This pretty young mare rides like that. Anyone can catch her, saddle her, bridle her, climb on and ride off. She has been in traffic, around cattle (is ready to start working cattle now) and has been ridden in the roughest country in the Arbuckle Mountains. She, too, rides equally well in a large group and rides just as well off by herself. She loads, hauls, ties, bathes, shoes, you name it. She is 100% sound and ready to go. She has a slightly 'bigger motor' that Drifters Blue Zip (above) who borders on being 'lazy' and will be a higher level sorting or penning horse and probably has a 'bigger stop' and 'quicker turn-around'. She definitely has the ability to go into competition and can still be a very pleasant trail and pleasure horse. She likes people and comes to you in the pasture. She goes absolutely anywhere you point her head. With her Incentive Fund nomination, we think she is an excellent penning and sorting prospect that is really started right. She is for sale now (before being worked on cattle) for $5000.00. |
