How To Find Us

Most of our rides originate at our ranch, Wolfe Ranch Quarter Horses, located on US Hwy 177.  We are located 4 1/2 miles North of Highway 7 in Sulphur, OK.   We also take visitors on ranch tours to see the mares, foals and stallions here.   Use these directions ONLY to go to Wolfe Ranch north of Sulphur, Oklahoma!!!

FROM  DALLAS  OR OKLAHOMA CITY using I-35 — To reach the Wolfe Ranch from  I-35, you can take exit 55.   Go East on State Hwy 7 to the town of Davis.

Go east through Davis and continue 9 miles on Hwy 7 to the town of Sulphur.

You will intersect US Hwy 177 in Sulphur at a 4-way stop sign (not one of the stop lights).

Turn left (North) onto US Hwy 177 and continue North for 4 1/2 miles. [The entrance to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area is just South of the 4-way stop.]

The ranch is on top of a hill on your right (east).  Our driveway is the 1st driveway on the east side of the highway north of the Palmer Road street sign.   You will see a pipe riding arena, several tall grain bins and several trucks and trailers.  Turn in the driveway that is just past the arena.  There is a small sign on the fence where you turn in the driveway that reads ‘Wolfe Ranch Quarter Horses’.  There are two American Bison in a pen where you turn in our driveway.  We do not have a big, fancy entry way.  We are just a working horse ranch that has been here for 35 years.  We raise, train and sell registered Quarter Horse trail horses, ranch horses and prospects, selling them all over the world.  More than 30 Wolfe Ranch horses have been exported to Europe and the UK.

We have raised, trained and sold good registered Quarter Horse trail and ranch horses for 40 years.   This is our horses’ ‘day job’ and they are very good at it.

Again — please do not try to use a GPS device to find the ranch.  They are not accurate here and will take you to a remote place 10 miles from the ranch.

Sulphur is also the home of the CHICKASAW  CULTURAL & HERITAGE CENTER (really worth seeing) and the 10,000 acre Chickasaw National Recreation Area, home of 2500 acre Lake Arbuckle, one of the best bass lakes in the United States.  It has several campgrounds, RV sites, free swimming and free hiking trails.  The Chickasaw Native American Tribe has also built a beautiful hotel (the Artesian)  and has a beautiful casino in Sulphur.

There are many B & Bs, Lodges, Cabins, Motels, Camping and RV facilities in the area as well as the beautiful new 4 story Artesian Hotel.  We are members of the Davis chamber of Commerce  and the Sulphur Chamber of Commerce.   They have ‘links’ to many places to stay.

There are several very good restaurants in Sulphur.

We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards.
